Proudly Veteran-Owned. Fiercely Latina-Led.
My name is Christine Malloy. My husband Daniel and I are the co-founders of Live Run Give LLC. My passion for organizing events began when I was just five years old, helping my father Carlos—a devoted Elk and philanthropist—set up charity events on weekends. Giving back is in my blood since my parents always encouraged us get involved with their charity work.
After losing three matriarchs in my family to breast cancer before I was the age of 23, I spent ten years cycling with the Young Survival Coalition’s Tour de Pink, raising awareness and mentoring new riders. As a tri-captain of the largest fundraising team, we raised over $100,000 to support women affected by breast cancer.
In 2018, we launched our first 5K—the Taco Trot—welcoming over 760 participants. That event changed everything. With guidance from my best friend and mentor, Lynette, I found the courage to expand and create more food-themed, joy-filled races.
Lynette passed away from stage 4 breast cancer on May 5, 2021. She was just 43. Every race we host is in her honor—her belief in me and our mission lives on through every mile.
My name is Dan Malloy. I served in the United State Navy for 5 years as a gas turbine technician; I had the opportunity to travel around the world and explore my love of new foods. In addition to history, podcasts, and climbing mountains in my spare time, I love to run – a lot. My passion for running started when I was 26. I started running 2-3 miles, then I went to 6-7 miles, and somewhere between then and now, I have run over a dozen marathons and ultra-marathons. On Race Day, find me checking course safety, adding markers, and helping our runners have the best possible experience.
