Racer Code of Conduct

Live Run Give Code of Conduct

We wish this kind of thing wasn’t necessary — but, well… people. While 99% of our runners are amazing humans who show up with good vibes and running shoes, we still need to spell out a few ground rules just in case. Think of this as our way of keeping things fun, safe, and welcoming for everyone (including the kiddos, volunteers, and donut mascots). Thanks for being awesome and helping us keep the good energy going.

At all LiveRunGive events, we are committed to creating a positive, family-friendly environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected. By registering for our races, participants agree to uphold the following code of conduct

Expected Behavior

Treat fellow participants, volunteers, race staff, spectators, and vendors with courtesy and respect.

Follow all posted rules, course markings, and instructions from race officials.

Keep language and behavior appropriate for all ages.

Maintain control of pets and strollers, adhering to safety guidelines.

Obey all park, town, or venue regulations.

Prohibited Behavior

Verbal abuse, threatening language, or aggressive conduct toward staff, volunteers, or participants.

Discriminatory, harassing, or offensive language or behavior.

Tampering with timing equipment, course markings, or race infrastructure.

Participating without proper registration or swapping bibs without approval.

Intoxication or use of controlled substances during the event.

Participant Eligibility

To prioritize the safety of all participants — especially children and families — any individual listed on a state or national sex offender registry is strictly prohibited from registering for, volunteering at, or attending any LiveRunGive LLC event. Any such individual found to be participating will be immediately removed and permanently banned. No refunds will be issued.

Consequences

Violation of any part of this policy may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the event
  • Disqualification and removal from race results
  • Ban from future LiveRunGive events
  • Referral to local authorities if necessary

If you witness or experience misconduct, please notify a race official or contact us after the event. We are here to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive experience for everyone.
